Overview. This Privacy Policy explains how Neatness ("we", "us", "this site") handles information when you visit https://www.neatness.top, including the checklist pages, the static pages, and both the English and Chinese versions of the site. By using the site you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.

Information we collect. Neatness is a set of static pages. There are no user accounts, no logins, no comment forms, no newsletter signup, and no file uploads, so we do not ask you for your name, postal address, phone number, or payment details, and we do not knowingly collect them. Like almost every web server, our hosting keeps standard access logs recording the requested URL, the date and time, the referring page, an abbreviated IP address, and the browser user-agent string. Those logs are used only to keep the site online, measure aggregate traffic, and diagnose errors or abuse, and they are rotated and deleted on a routine schedule.

Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a site or a third party places on your device. Neatness itself sets no first-party cookies for tracking, profiling, or advertising. The cookies you may encounter here are set by the third-party services described below, and you can block or delete them at any time in your browser settings. All checklists remain fully readable if you do.

Advertising and Google AdSense. Neatness is supported by advertising and uses Google AdSense as a third-party advertising vendor. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. We do not control those vendors, and we cannot read the cookies they set.

The DoubleClick DART cookie and similar identifiers. Google's advertising products use the DoubleClick DART cookie and comparable device or browser identifiers to record which ads have already been shown to you and to help select advertising that is likely to be relevant. These technologies do not give us access to your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information.

How to opt out of personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time. Visit Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com and turn off personalized ads. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance) or at https://optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative). Analytics. We do not currently run a first-party analytics or behavioural-tracking script on this site, we do not build user profiles, and we do not sell or rent audience data.

Your rights under the GDPR. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to be informed about how your personal data is used; to request access to the personal data we hold about you; to request correction of inaccurate data; to request erasure; to request restriction of processing; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; to receive the data you provided in a portable format; to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority. Our lawful bases for the limited processing described above are our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site and, where required for advertising cookies, your consent. Because we hold almost no personal data, other than server logs that may contain a truncated IP address and any email you choose to send us, exercising most of these rights will simply mean deleting or correcting those records at your request.

Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information are collected, the right to request deletion or correction of that information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the third-party advertising relationships described in this policy. You can send an opt-out or access request to the address at the end of this policy, and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

Children. Neatness is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where that is the applicable age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention, transfers, and security. Server logs and correspondence are kept only as long as they are needed for the purposes described above and are then deleted. Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, by us or by the third-party vendors named above. The site is served over HTTPS and access to the server is restricted, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links. Checklists may link to other websites whose practices we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing information to them.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, in the services we use, or in applicable law. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and continued use of the site after that point means you accept it. Please review this page periodically.
